No one will ask you to stand and introduce yourself!

We know that it can be intimidating being in a new church environment.  We want you to feel as comfortable as possible --- we would not want anyone to feel singled out or pressured.

What happens in a typical Worship Experience at HCF?

We usually begin with about 30 minutes of singing. The music is a rock genre and is pretty lively.  Feel free to sit, stand, sing, clap and even dance, or just listen as we express our worship to God using all of our heart, mind, soul, and body. The words to all of the songs are projected at the front of the room and you are invited to join in and sing along. If you don't know the songs, hang in there, we usually sing them through a couple of times - and don't worry, we didn't know them at first either. Our main desire is for worship to be a connection point with you and God --- for you to literally experience His presence and love for you!  

The Offering:

Like most churches we take up an offering in our service. If you are a visitor, please don't feel that you have to contribute - the only gift we'd like from you is your completed Welcome Card. Simply participate as you want to and feel free to worship God as you feel comfortable.  This is primarily a time for those who consider Harvest their home church to worship God through their tithes and offering.  

The Message: 

Harvest provides practical Bible messages that help you deal with real life issues.  You'll also find that HCF seeks to utilize modern technology.   We use video images and PowerPoint presentations to make our  messages visually interesting.

What should I wear?

Bottom line, come as you are. Regardless of your thoughts on church or questions you have about God, church is a place for you to discover and experience God. We're casual and simply want you to be able to connect with God. So don't worry about what's in your closet, just come and hang out and see what you think.

The only question is will your kids have more fun than you will?

We know that whether you have infants or older children, you need a safe place for them to learn. We also know that your kids want to have lots of fun. You’ll find that our nurseries and children’s classrooms are a safe and fun place for them to learn. Our children's workers and volunteers are committed to providing a safe and fun place for your kids. We really do want to be a support and an encouragement to your family!

We understand that life is busy and sometimes complicated. Church shouldn’t be.

Church ought to be an enjoyable experience, a place that’s easy to get to and a place where we can all pause to experience God, enjoy each other and celebrate life. If you’ve never been to church, or it’s been a while, we hope that we’ve been able to answer some of your questions.
